ENCHANTED LOVE BETWEEN MAGIC AND WONDER

Carlotta and Alessandro dreamed of a wedding that was unique, magical, and unforgettable. Their passion for Harry Potter guided them in choosing a theme that would be a true journey into that universe. The challenge for me, as their Wedding Planner, was clear from the very beginning: to create an enchanted atmosphere without turning it into a costume party or something cliché, while maintaining elegance and coherence. Organizing this wedding was an extraordinary journey, filled with creative challenges and moments of pure joy.

The first step was researching all the less obvious details to make the event refined and authentic. Together with the couple, we focused on what truly makes the magical world so special: the sense of wonder, the fairy-tale atmosphere, mystery, and illusion. We paid attention to small details that would evoke the magical world without being excessive. For example, the Felix Felicis potion, also known as “liquid luck,” which guests had the chance to taste during the aperitif. Another special touch was the tableau de mariage, which, of course, had to be managed by the Sorting Hat itself! Or rather… by me, hidden behind the curtain, having the time of my life -giving voice and personality to the hat as it assigned tables to guests with witty remarks and fun references. Seeing the joy and amusement in their eyes was priceless!

The ceremony and reception hall was the heart of the setup. We recreated the enchantment of the Great Hall of Hogwarts, with floating candles hovering above the tables and cascading flowers that added to the ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere. But the real magic came from an incredible technical feat: we recreated an actual thunderstorm. Dark clouds, lighting effects, and a soft rumble of thunder in the background made everyone believe that rain might start falling at any moment. The effect was breathtaking and left everyone speechless.

Seeing Carlotta and Alessandro live their dream with bright eyes and hearts full of emotion was the greatest reward. And for all the guests, it was an event that will remain etched in their memories as something truly… magical!
